Syncing Doesn't Work

So, I've been trying to sync from my Windows Vivaldi, because I just got a smartphone and I want to have the two synced. However, trying to do a sync upload just doesn't work on my computer. I'll wait forever with it saying Upload: In Progress, and after a long while, it'll just say something like "retrying in (blank amount of time)". I seriously don't know what's wrong here. I've logged out and logged back in on Vivaldi again just to be sure that wasn't the issue.

@PeppymintPatty Is there anything atypical about your internet connection - proxy or anything like that?

Same problem with 3.2
I have no connection problems, the synchronization of the other browsers works normally.

@Furax31 Works a treat here, with all my versions. So I can't hazard a guess what might be happening at your end.

I installed the snapshot version on top of the stable version. I don't know if that's the problem...?

After a complete reinstallation, same problem "Upload: Network error". (Snapshot 3.2) There is really a problem with synchronization, I've already seen tons of topics about it.

@Furax31 There have been intermittent server problems. There is not a universal problem with the browser itself. At present, as I mentioned, None of my nineteen installs (fifteen on Windows and four on Linux) on five machines have a problem. That said, for some reason, some people suffer chronic network problems, and I don't know what to make of that.

@Furax31 It's possible there is a problem with your specific profile. Have you tried clearing remote data?

Yes I have already done it several times. On Android I have no problem, it's on Windows 10 (even after formatting the problem returns). -

@Furax31 Worse still. 2004 and subsequent builds have a problem with breaking login and password handling. That could actually be related to your problem.
That said, I do have sync working perfectly on Windows 7 and Win10 1903, 1909 and 2004 - though after system or browser re-start it is always logged out on 2004, and requires submitting credentials twice in order to log in. Less fraught on Linux at present.
