Great update! Editing menus is promising
I was hoping for a fix for the Windows video issue - I thought I wouldn't be bothered by it, but apparently I am.It doesn't seem to be just directly loaded videos, since the last update I've been struggling with a lot of embedded video.
Also kind of surprised you would add configurable menus but not also fix the Alt+key issue (VB-65700)
-
@legobuilder26 Guess what, there was a visible mail and contacts panel in the sidebar in 2015 ^^
-
Do we have any more detail on "[Regression] Slow page load performance (VB-67537)"?
And a regression starting as of what specific version?

Thank you for your always passionate effort. It has been a pleasure to use your browser for nearly one year and an half, and you never stop innovating. Thank you. Today another big step has been made. Keep pushing

Looking a lot neater now, with just the items that I use frequently.
-
@Ruarí How do we move Add Active Tab back to the top of the bookmark menus?
-
@Sillvva You can also make yourself a bookmark for vivaldi://notes for quick access without having to go to the Start Page.
-
@npro And the more complex, as there are multiple context menus.
-
Hi all! Congratulations the work. But I noticed a small mistake. Text is leaked when you add a custom mouse gesture.

I've tried, I don't think we can ... (yet?)
This my primary (actually, the only) reason for needing to edit menusMore important in my opinion would be editing of context (right-click) menus, hopefully that will come down the line.
-
@jumpsq: Not only him
-
@Ayespy yes, I can't imagine how (or if) they are going to pull it off, best case I'd say would be tab context menu only.
-
Nice. Tweaks for performance, a customizable menu (which probably will be re-used for context menu too) and more love the full tab note editor
-
@npro How pessimistic! I'm pretty sure context menus in general (all of them) will be customizable in time.
-
Please, don't release the stable version before fixing VB-66410 (Going fullscreen in one window hides the sidebar of every other window)
I never thought that could be so annoying to deal with
Also, clock's date wasn't properly fixed, VB-67686 (Missing month and year in clock's date) -
@Ayespy Well if you are sure then you 'd have to know something more so this is good news indeed. I wonder though how they are going to cover all those menu possibilities (right-click on links, images, empty space, address bar, etc) in the Settings page , or even if it makes so much sense investing a lot (I assume) of time and effort on those -secondary in terms of importance I'd say- menus.
-
@csablak Quite a big mistake because it makes it impossible to define new gestures.
(VB-67265) Add Mouse Gesture Command Selection Droplist Broken
-
@gabevilela They have to release stable builds according to a schedule. Although every effort is made to fix bugs before release, some will always remain broken in the Stable build.
