Bookmark bar disappeared after a fresh start of Vivaldi [2.12.1862.3]
-
every time a restart Vivaldi my bookmarks bar is gone, it takes me 2 mouse-clicks to get it back. Do more users see this odd behaviour ??

@NoAidee I've seen this kind of problem with the statusbar, and I've seen other reports about panels behaving this way. I think a fix is in progress so hopefully in the next snapshot it will be fixed.
-
thnx for your quick response Lon, I'll return to the previous snapshot and will try again when the follow up of this version is available.
-
ah, funny, I just posted this
I had the same problem, but with this snapshot the first time.
But I didn't restart my browser, the problem came while browsing -
@NoAidee I noticed the issue on first updating, but not on restarting.
-
Not only bookmark bar disappears, but it doesn't seem to remember it being enabled. After enabling it, closing the browser and reopening, it's gone again and has to be re-enabled.
Appreciate the frequency of snapshots but this should have been detected in QA before publishing the latest snapshot From user perspective, browser not remembering its state is a big no-no.

Same issue here. When I open vivaldi the bookmark bar is gone. In settings it's set to show bookmark bar, disabling en then re enabling it fixes it for the current session. But the next time I startup vivaldi the bookmark bar is gone again.

The bug wasn't in the snapshot but now with the latest "stable" release: here too bookmark bar enabled is not remembered when restarting Vivaldi.

Just noticed this: when I start Vivaldi the Bookmark is indeed gone but the Status bar is on while I never use that. And when I disable the Status bar .... the Bookmark bar comes back. Just saying cause is funny
Mmm, seems the semi-lockdown here also effects also my sense of humor ... -
Just got the new snapshot, and it's fixed. Cheers!
