Drag and drop

You can drag the windows easily from the panel toolbar at the side. I move the panels to the right but they are on the left by default.

That black bar on your left is grabbable, and so is the space below the window controls (min/max/restore/close buttons).
There have been many requests for increased grabbable area so I think the developers will do something about this.

Yes, I understood. Thank you Didn't realize you could drag the window from there. It's a bit non-intuitive, and I hope they make the area above the tabs larger.

I am sure it will come in time. I already have it after inserting this code at the start of common.css that I found somewhere on these forums (copy it before editing as messing this up might stop the browser working properly).
Open <installation folder="">\Vivaldi\Application\1.0.178.2\resources\vivaldi\style\common.css
Insert this line
.tab-spacer{visibility:hidden}</installation> -

Looks like the world is divided in two.
People who want a larger drag area, and people who likes middle button to open a new tab.
Atm the two things are mutually exclusive, but I'm sure the devs will find a way to please both sides.

I believe the best solution would be to add a size adjustment option into the browser settings. Then you can choose the size of the tabs, and decide how much of it goes for the tabs and how much remains for the area where you can grab the window.

Not sure if was already mentioned in this thread, but the area below the windows controls (on the right of the trash can) is draggable too.

Why? These two things were always available in Opera 12.
I use middle button to open a new tab. And at the same time I use this drag area.

Opera 12 was built from scratch, gui and engine, and developed continuously for almost 20 years.
Vivaldi is built starting from an engine not developed by Vivaldi, with a GUI built using non native tools, and one month or so is past since the introduction of middle button on top bar.
Do you notice some difference?
Just give them some time…

Middle-click on the tab bar to open a Speed Dial tab is not very useful. There's already a button there to open a new speed dial tab.
Opera 12.17 has the option: PageBar Open URL On MiddleClick, which will open a URL or do a default search for the clipboard contents. Double-click opens a new speed dial tab.
