Vivaldi not syncing
-
Still not working for me
-
@chida There were several downtimes in the recent days. It seems that now it's working again but I don't know how long.
-
Sync is down again. Unable to log in. 20:58 GMT
Edit: Initialising the Sync engine, but no sync.
-
Working again earlier, but again not syncing. Apparently Vivaldi is becoming too popular and the server cannot cope with the traffic?
-
Logging in OK, but still getting network errors.
Edit: Currently working again at 17:35 GMT
-
Network errors again today. Still not syncing at 15:12 GMT
-
@Gwen-Dragon I hope it will be resolved soon!
-
Sync is not working again. It has been like that for several hours. Now 17:20 GMT.
-
Working again now.
-
Bad Gateway error on trying to log in this morning at 8:03 am GMT.
-
Between the Sync Server Name and the Retry Countdown should be a space. Reported as VB-64037.
-
Still no sync:
Vivaldi.net rejected your credentials: Authentication failed for Pesala (400).
-
It seems that I changed my login password recently.
Sync is working OK again now. -
1:47 pm GMT.
Network errors again. Logged out, but unable to initialise the search engine.
-
Network errors again on uploading.
Still the same problem 4 hours later at 22:57.
-
@Gwen-Dragon I see no errors in the Traffic Log.
If I log out and log in again, the icon become black:
- Last synchronisation time: 10/4/2020, 09:31:17
- Download Idle
- Upload: In progress ...
The network errors followed after a few minutes, and the icon is again showing the three dots.
-
Still no change after 24 hours. Maybe the next Snapshot update will reset something and fix what seems to be a problem only at my end.
-
I logged out again, logged in again, and this time opted to Sync all data, including typed history and remote sessions.
This time, the upload succeeded.
I then reapplied my default settings, omitting typed history and remote sessions. Now the network error has resurfaced.
-
Vivaldi still not syncing after latest update.
-
I am giving up using Sync. It causes more problems for me than it is worth. I only have one PC, so it only serves as a backup, and one that is so unreliable that it is not worth having.
