-
This snapshot makes it easier to use picture-in-picture (pop out video), changes the default theme to match OS dark/light settings, and includes a minor Chromium update.

Woohoo Pop out video button!
Been waiting for that for a while, but it's finally here.
-
All Themes and created Themes are reverting back to Vivaldi Standard Theme (the first in the row) after newstart and opening New Private Window.
Edit: I have Light Theme in MacOS Mojave.
-
The new popout button is good! Appears on everything from youtube to the "loading" spinner video on discord. One issue is on twitch, where you have to pause the video first to see it, but it works once you do that.
-
@thot: Confirmed.
I also lost my default search engine. I had it set as Startpage, which is now gone from the list entirely. Bing is the new default. I think my other custom search engines are still there.
I'm on Linux Mint 19.3.

Is that a Marijuana field? :face_with_stuck-out_tongue_winking_eye:
-
popv out video Button was a good addition
-
my dark theme looks a bit different now, non-active tabs has the same background color as tab bar background, so it kind of blends but it's ok
another thing is browser feels a bit snappier now. weird. seems like a all tabs-related animations got disabled (i have enabled animations, panel animations are still there) for some reason, but i think i like that. it's better than lagging animations (which is vivaldi's ui biggest pain since always)
-
@pathduck: No. Have you ever seen marijuana before?
-
@pathduck: It's Goldenrod. Sorry to disappoint
-
-
@ugly: The Standard Search Engines are still all there. Only DuckDuckGo - my default Engine -, also for Private Window, went twice.
On MacOS Mojave.
-
@ruario I guess I haven't
Not me, nuh-uh. Nope. Never seen one mr occifer Sir... -
This snapshot keeps reverting my custom theme back to the Dark theme every time I open Vivaldi or enter sleep mode with Vivaldi open.
-
Native notifications for Windows 10 (which should appear in the Action Center) are broken for me. I can only get Chrome-type of notifications even when forcing the Enable native notifications flag to Enabled. native notifications worked great for months now.

Would it be possible to make that pop-out button fade after x time?
Or at least hide it, when the video is "full screened" manually?
Right now, there is a little bright white square on top of the (very often) black top bar on wide full screen videos and it's getting annoying pretty fast...
Thanks!EDIT: as YamiryuuZero noted, every time Vivaldi is launched the theme is reverted to the standard "Dark Theme" on a Win10 Pro 1909 machine.
EDIT II: For me the PiP button doesn't show at initial full screen of a video but after interaction with the Interface or accidental mouse movement. Upon that Interface including PiP button show and at no action interface fades out but PiP button remains visible fully.
As fort the personal theme, in fact the "themes schedule" setting was set to "Use Operating System Theme" and that would call the Vivaldi Dark Theme. Switching it to "No Schedule" retains the manually set theme. -
Yay for the new pop-out button for picture-in-picture! I've missed this since I switched to Vivaldi from Opera.
Now, can you make my dreams come true by adding video controls (volume and time slider) into the P-i-P window??? Please?

Already reported this as a bug, but the Status Info Overlay is located over the tab bar if you have the Tab Bar Position set to Left.

@Steinh Nettle... Urtica dioica...
-
@LonM Shows on my W10 machine just fine (twitch).
