@ugly: " If you have more than a page of Speed Dials and scroll past the Speed Dial that is stuck highlighted, the page will always jump back to the selected Speed Dial."
I can't confirm this, unless I am not understanding the issue correctly. Could you perhaps create a video to demonstrate?
-
@ruario I don't know why I didn't realise this before: Why are you smiling, but all these animals don't? I want a second photo with you annoyed like they are.
-
Awww... that picture reminds me of the cat I had in my childhood.

This isn't a showstopper, but it's been an annoyance for the last few snapshots. Speed Dials tend to stay highlighted after middle clicking them. This causes problems when opening a lot of Speed Dials using middle-click. If you have more than a page of Speed Dials and scroll past the Speed Dial that is stuck highlighted, the page will always jump back to the selected Speed Dial.
Easiest way to reproduce is to middle-click a Speed Dial and, while still holding down middle-click, drag your mouse across the Speed Dial icon. The icon will stay highlighted.
Another way to reproduce is to right click on a Speed Dial icon. Then click somewhere else on the page to get the context menu to disappear. The icon will stay highlighted.
I'm on Linux Mint 19.2
This has been happening (from me) on Windows for the last few stables as well

Hi! What about VB-60356? Was there anything done about it in this snapshot?
-
BUG-1: "Sonderzeichen" = special charakters are wrong shown, watch the pics
-
@gwen-dragon: amazing. But I went out of my way to explain exactly how to reproduce it. The tab bar appears to be extremely taxing on both the CPU and the GPU to draw, and it is being redrawn on every possible occasion — when there's a sound icon on a tab, when you're just scrolling, when you aren't even looking at it... I verified that it's the case using "Quartz Debug", the tab bar keeps flashing yellow when you scroll and when you play any sound. The moment you hide it in the settings, it feels like that you bought a new computer. This drives me crazy on a daily basis but you can't manage to reproduce it for some reason.
Having either a tab bar or an adequate drawing performance is a terrible choice to make.
-
@gwen-dragon: yes I did! Albeit in Russian because the question was in Russian. They told me that they translated it and forwarded to the developers.

I re-read what I wrote and I was unclear. Let me try to re-state:
If you have more than a page of Speed Dials and scroll past the Speed Dial that is stuck highlighted, the page will always jump back to the selected Speed Dial when you middle-click another Speed Dial icon that is further down (or above) on the Speed Dial page.

I use bottom address bar and when I go to fullscreen I can't click on bottom center of page, it opens url bottom bar instead.
Cool! I wish we had that behaviour when the address bar is at the top.

@ugly: Confirmed (Windows 10)

Please, fix VB-59501.

@potmeklecbohdan: Honestly… because I felt very silly

VB-61313 "GUI settings not stored on KDE" seems like a real show stopper.
Seems to be a bug since 1745.1.In combination with the age old window resizing problem (newly submitted as VB-61314) every time i start vivaldi i have to move it to the right display, make i fullscreen, tile it again, resize and change the bookmark sidebar settings.
A real pain in the ass. -
@gwen-dragon: Doesn't happen for me and no other dupes AFAIK
