Password Manager vs. Saved Passwords
-
I recently changed the passwords in my wife's & my email accounts. The password manager successfully stored the new passwords but the saved password list from Settings>Privacy continued to show the original passwords, not the new ones. In an attempt to remedy this I deleted both entries but this only made matters worse; now the password manager no longer works for either of our email addresses. How can we get the P/M to save our email addresses again without uninstalling & reinstalling Vivaldi? Thanks in advance.

@Wireaddict
Try deleting fromGnuPGthe Login keyring where Vivaldi stores passwords.
In Xubuntu I can use Seahorse which is a graphical front end forGnuPGkeyring.
Then in Vivaldi goto
chrome://settings/passwords
and check your email accounts aren't in
the "Never Saved" list at the bottom.
Now see if Vivaldi prompts to save your new email passwords when entered in the relevant web page. -
@Wireaddict Hello there,
did you use Vivaldi built-in password manager or some third-party software?

@lamarca Vivaldi's password manager.
