Minor update(2) for Vivaldi Android Beta
-
You'd better make tiles on the express panell smaller...
Two tiles only in a row is not enough. -
@joao-rossa I had fun deleting 15,000+ duplicated notes on my account. Almost crashed my big desktop computer I didn't have to do it on multiple devices, though. Sync took care of everything for me afterward.
thank you @mariap!

@moribund Thanks, but that's the snapshot version, not the Beta(2) version, which appears to be 1624.277
-
and create option to always display navi buttons and url
-
@x-15a2: https://vivaldi.com/download/Vivaldi.apk
It's the .277 version.

Next times, can you write changelog directly in Google play changelog instead of putting a link?
Links are not useable directly when in changelog, must go to app page, expand news then use link in changelog -
Sorry, I have no idea what you are talking about, but for you I will not post links any longer.
-
@troypulk
Sorry, I have no idea why you're answering a comment I sent to the people who write updates changelog in google play, but for you I will send a screenshot of what I was trying to sayTo get changelog from gplay recent updates, one have to click on browser, ten on news, then on link where changelog should be directly put INSIDE changelog space.
And just in case, I call changelog these lines:- [Crash] Crash when opening downloads (VB-57547)
- [Crash] Fixes for several common crashers
- [Notes] Copy to note option appears when there is no selected text to copy (VB-57474)
- [Search] Yandex search engine does not appear after upgrade for RU locale (VB-58074)
- [Search] Set Yandex as default search engine for RU locale (VB-58155)
- [Sync] No mention of encryption password length requirements on Android’s Sync page (VB-57537)
- [Sync][Notes] Note duplication (VB-58353)
- Further translation updates
-
Everything is great, but why Yandex for RU locale? Did they payed to Vivaldi team?
-
@Albirew Sorry for the late reply.
Our change logs are usually longer than the Play Store character limit allows. That's why we had to opt for posting the link to the change log instead. -
@jane-n Thanks for the reply.
I see... Then, is it possible to have changelog in a new tab or in a popup when opening browser after an update? Maybe with an opt-out tickbox on the page and/or in settings page... -
@Albirew Something like the 'What's New?' page on desktop?
Definitely worth considering. Please post a feature request in the Android category, so it doesn't slip under our radar. -
@vladimyr: I could not agree more! I want it to be, ironically, more like Opera.
-
@emvaized: that's a fair question.
