Let us move the "open a new tab" button to the address bar row of buttons...

Please let us move the "open a new tab" button to the address bar row of buttons, so it can be in a predictable location that is not always dynamically moving around, to make it easier to click and access.

Yes to the option to move that button, would be very useful. Moving it to address bar or next to the tab trash can would work equally well for me.

Hi, Unfortunately the developers have decided to mark this request as "Will not do", which means this request won't be implemented in Vivaldi.
For those that do want this, you can create a custom command button for a new tab, add it where you wish then hide the main one with a CSS modification.
