Incognito mode

Having Private Tabs was one of my favourite Opera browser features. If something similar was implemented in Vivaldi that would be really awesome.
-
What else to say other than "+1"?! The private tabs made old Opera's private browsing option a class above that of any other browser.
-
+1 for private tabs
-
+1 here too. Private tabs are a must!

Old opera private browsing was the best, two diferent acounts in the same window, perfect for developers. Only one small thing was bad i want to see that tyni icon of the web page and private brovsing icon. Because none of the browsers provides both. U know i want to identyfi the tab/site quickly but i want to be sure i am in private browsing.
-
I would suggest to put the private tabs in a shade of dark white (also known as gray :p) instead of pure white, or lighter if using a dark theme.
-
Necessary for sure!

You could have kept chromium's incognito mode, you didn't have to rip it out of the browser! Now you have to do alot more work to get a private browsing experience added to this great browser!

I don't know if when I try to open a link Vivaldi is switching into a private browsing mode or incognito mode. But, while it is still running, radio going for example. I cannot find a way to get back to Vivaldi. Only closing processes in task manager or restarting computer if freezes.
How do you get into and, mainly, get out of private browsing or incognito mode?Thank-you.

Private browsing is not implemented yet.

I've been trying to get incognito mode working using several chrome extensions but the only one that "worked" was incognito-filter, which only opened a new window that was linked to the other window and was unusable.
until they add incognito mode, i've been using online proxies like kproxy and hidemyass. -
Private tabs/browsing is a must. Make it happen soon please.
-
I'd love to see private browsing for V too!
-
yeah, i vouch for opera style private browsing too. +1.
-
+1 to this.
-
there's some chrome apps that claim to do this. i've never tried them though so i can't comment on their competence.
ex. incognito this!

there seems to be several others also …

This was the first thing I google'd after I downloaded Vivaldi
-
A real must have.
-
+1 for incognito mode.
I use it all the time when testing the signed-in / signed-out state of a website.
I'm sure other folks would have more of an opinion about how private browsing should work.
My ideal would be:
1. New window for private browsing
2. Each new private browsing window is private from the other browsing windows (Chrome et al mix private cookies)
3. Cookies can be shared between tabs in a private browsing window. This make it easier to test multiple logged in state (e.g. admin, none, member)

Is there a way to start vivaldi up from the command line so that it goes directly in private browsing mode?
