What's your favorite game in 2019?
-
Hey
-
Which is your favorite game that you've played this year?
-
Which one did you like the least?
Looking forward to reading your replies :smiling_face_with_open_mouth:

I've mainly been playing two games recently.
One is older - Wasteland 2. It's quite good if you like turn--based RPGs.
The game that actually came out this year that I really enjoyed is Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.
I don't really have enough time to play games to play something I don't like, so I can't really say a least favourite.
-
I don't play as many games as I used to, but the game I've enjoyed most this year is probably "Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden" published by Funcom.
Dark post-apocalyptic, turn-based tactics and exploration with a mutant duck and pig and other assorted freaks of nature- what's not to love
https://www.mutantyearzero.com/Another favourite has been "Ghost of a Tale": Stealth, exploration and a great art style, featuring a cute-as-a-button mouse hero
https://www.ghostofatale.com/The one I've least enjoyed is I guess "Assassin's Creed Odyssey". It was fun at the start, but got way too grindy after a while, and the pay-to-win transactions peed me off, so I stopped. Maybe I will pick it up again in winter.
-
The only game I played this year on a computer was Word Play 5 letter word... :disappointed_but_relieved_face:
In addition to that, I sometimes play board games but I don't know if this post is related to board games.
Anyway, I really enjoyed Splendor which might be considered as my favorite game this year.
The one I liked the least was Forbidden Island :
-
@Ornorm totally agree about Splendor, this is my favorite board games. So muuuch strategy and bluff
Never get bored on every single games ^^ -
Star Traders Frontiers is probably my favorite game of the year. I say this year because the Android version come out on this year but the steam version for PC is over a year old right now.
-
The game I enjoy most is Astroneer - probably because I don't like "shoot em ups"
The closest I get to "combat" would be the card game Slay the Spire
-
@TbGbe Astroneer looks like a lot of fun - I've had it on my wish list for some time, but been waiting until it was out of Early Access (which it is now I believe).
Slay the Spire looks too hard for me - I get easily frustrated
-
@Pathduck said in What's your favorite game in 2019?:
but been waiting until it was out of Early Access (which it is now I believe).
Yes, full release since February 2019.
Latest update includes jetpacks !! -
Hide and seek.
Old favourite but I find as I get older I do more hiding than seeking? -
For Mobile Games (Smartphone) Mobile Legends my Current Favourite Game on 20199
-
There are 2 nice games for fans of Old school RPG like Diablo.Eternium for mobile and PC. Available on Google Play and Windows Store. Is free. Although there are shopping options in the game for add-ons, it is not necessary to be able to finish the game (no pay-to-win)
There is another similar one called Flare RPG, that is OpenSource GPL and available for Linux, Mac and Windows

At the moment (as 2019 hasn’t finished yet) it would have to be Wreckfest
Here’s a trailer:

Available for Xbox One / PS4 and windows

I prefer pubg in pc. and the world of tanks.
-
@gaelle I still play Skyrim my guy. It's one of the best games ever made if you want me to be completely honest with you.
-
A while ago I played Jenny LeClue and really enjoyed it. (Apart from the ending)
-
I am still playing Command Conquer
Still very satisfying to win a game against three machine players
-
I didn't play much variety of games, but what I've played till now, I say:
Good surprise: PES 2020
Not impressed: FIFA 2020Maybe I will PES 2020 with the Xmas/NewEve off and after Red Dead Redemption 2

@Pathduck I loved the "Mutant..." concept hahah
@LonM interesting, I'll check it more
-
I still have a great time with The Dark Mod, since new missions often come out (already more than 100) it's a great game for many years and 100% free. (Win, Linux, Mac)
-
@Catweazle interesting, never heard of it
