People should stop using Android and IOS products and instead move to Huawei using AuroraOS/SailFish or Astra Linux or better still a secure GNU/Linux PC. There's no need to be using proprietary prison software like Android, IOS, MacOS, WindBlows etc. I for one don't want Vivaldi outside of a PC because then the team will focus less on the desktop as they'll seek the high numbers of dumbed down microwaved zombies using 'silent weapons for quiet wars'.

@uhm You got my interest. Where do I download WindBlows?
-
Wind-Blows is Microlame Windows aka spyware proprietary prison and therefore there is no such operating system as Wind Blows. GNU/Linux is the future and not these locked down U.S. operating systems from hell giving your data over to Unit 8200 of Israel, NSA of the U.S and GCHQ of the UK aka the SIX EYES NETWORK (six because they always ignore the Israeli connection). The head of the snake is the ITU over in Geneva, Switzerland. What we need to do is boycott silicon valley big tech trash and follow the FOSS bible of Richard Stallman. The hardened Linux Kernel from Russia on Astra Linux can now be placed onto portable devices to remove Android/IOS prisons. The next level will be to dump Western and Korean processors and stick only to Russian processors like the Elbrus which works very well with Astra Linux.

@uhm If you want to stop using Android and IOS products, feel free.
Vivaldi are not going to stop developing their Android mobile browser just because you have an issue with any software that is not FOSS.
-
@Pesala I've never ever lowered myself to using Android or IOS and I'll never use them and the same goes for Facelame, Twatter and any other Google products. I've used Windows in the past and I wouldn't dream of using it ever again especially Windblows 10. Well when Vivaldi start slowing down on the desktop browser due to dumbphone microwave 'silent weapons for quiet wars' popularity then you come back to me but I suspect you're a user of these prison/surveillance softwares.

@uhm You make some good points, but tone down the language. It's not helping your case; you're making yourself look like a parody.
-
@eggcorn , that ennumberings are not something that protects privacy is known, although it can be remedied, at least on Windows.
But it is a very common mistake among FOSS freaks, to believe that FOSS is synonymous with privacy and security, which is a serious mistake. -
@eggcorn Seems the forum doesn't have a fail-safe to stop duplicate-posting.

@uhm Paid Content?
-
@kuhlmanck , on Android it is not useful to have paid content, even less those of Google Play.
In Android, F-Droid, Blokada and a good AV are essential, for example BitDefender, since Play Protect is practically a placebo. -
@catweazle I was unclear. Sorry.
My intention was to express an opinion that the top-level OP was posting as a paid provocateur, possibly from Huawei themselves.
Their deliberate choice of childish words and phrasing detracts from any possible point that might have been made.
Reminds me much of the early days of UUsenet when 16 year old university students got their first access. Made the months of September-December quite interesting every year.
-
@kuhlmanck , no, I have to apologize, for misunderstanding you, I'm a little slow on weekends.
-
@kuhlmanck But is it true that Huawei is making Linux phones and tablets? If so, then he's got a point. We should wish Huawei luck, in promoting Linux as an alternative to iOS and Android!
