Love the illustrating image !

@cqoicebordel: Just a random image. Means nothing!
Surely there isn't any logic to our minor update images, is there‽

Just looks like the team is still on vacation
Anyway, thanks for the Update and all the efforts.

@ruario: Yeah, but the others, meh.
This one is funny -
Thank you for your work!

@cqoicebordel: each to their own

Just for reference, what is the post mortem on the whole Ctrl+F thing?
On the one hand, there was the 1628.26 build some weeks ago which had this, but which few if any people reported made a difference:
[Regression] Freeze in Find in Page (VB-55475)Now we have this:
[Regression][Hang] During find-in-page (VB-56564)I assume this one will stick the landing, but how do they relate to each other?
-
@ruario: Suggestion: Put in one coat hanger more for each minor update ...

I turn this comment to 11
I see after this update vivaldi://gpu list if it is using Metal on macOS -
Got a bug, not sure it was there before...
When typing
3.3usd to eur
in url bar,
it's auto-corrected tohttp://3.3usd/ to eur
and so fails... : (Thx
-
Vivaldi lost the UI on the first run.
Check GPU status >> reuse the tab to open the Flag >> No UI
Task Manager active, unable to end the process. Shutdown using Ctrl+Q
Message printed[25390:25390:0905/150937.836426:ERROR:vivaldi_browser_window.cc(337)] UI Process crashes with status 4!

Thank you so much for this. The find in page hangs were really stressing me out! I never realized how much I relied on that.
-
Default pure installation, without loging to sync. How can I disable dark mode for context menu? I can't find any appropriate flag.
-
@cqoicebordel: Agreed!
-
@Gwen-Dragon I forgot to mention, that this parameter wasn't working for me :(.
-
@enc0re Aha, Chromium now follows system theme settings. If I switch OS theme to light, then context menu are light also.
