Quick Commands while DevTools is enabled
-
Press F2 should open Quick Commands dialog while DevTools remains opened.
At present, with latest stable version, if DevTools is opened and I press F2 to get the Quick Commands dialog, it won't open unless you close DevTools. It would be nice to be able to have both functionalities working together.
-
Better yet - being able to pick the keyboard commands for dev tools that way one could remap the conflicting shortcut to something else.
-
@metafaniel Assign a second shortcut to Quick Commands and use that when using developer tools to work around the conflict.
-
@pesala I did that and solves the problem, thanks.
Anyway, it'd be nice for Vivaldi to not having conflicting shortcuts out of the box, especially for main features though. -
@metafaniel I suggest submitting a Bug Report for this. I suspect that the developer tools shortcuts are fixed by Chromium. Changing the default (F2) for Quick Commands might be problematic for existing users.

@pesala OK I followed your advice:
Bug Report:
Your bug report has been given the issue reference VB-46435
Thanks.

Some time has passed... So, just to update: has this bug report been taken into consideration? Is there a way I can follow up the updates regarding it? I've been pending my email inbox if I just received a request for more details or a follow up for this report but nothing.
I was just wondering what happened with this.
THANKS! -
@metafaniel No progress on this. You can keep track of bugs in this thread: https://forum.vivaldi.net/topic/27450/what-is-the-status-of-vb-already-reported-bug-issue
