How to ALLOW pop-ups in Vivaldi
-
I just switched to Vivaldi. I'm a business that sells to large north American retailers like Home Depot. They have vendor portals which rely on pop-ups in order to manage many processes.
How am I able to ALLOW pop-ups with Vivaldi? I just spent an hour making some updates to an item I sell to Home Depot within their portal, but I could not save the updates and could not find a visible solution in Vivaldi.
Is there a way to manage pop-ups in Vivaldi? Otherwise, I'll need to go back to Chrome. Any answers appreciated.

//EDIT: Removed wrong link, please follow Gwen one.
(Actually the link used to work on July 2019 vivaldi builds) -
There is no "Content" section in Vivaldi Settings!

@KetchupKid Please use the link @Gwen-Dragon has provided.

@kahukura -Thanks. But I use Vivaldi, not Chrome - and, yes, I know Vivaldi is Chrome-based. In any case, I found a way to solve the popup problem by unchecking the block popups ads from abusive sites. It worked and my bank billpay popup worked.

@KetchupKid Some of Vivaldis settings are still only reachable using the prefix of Chrome because there is still a lot to do for the developers to translate everything and catch up here and there.
But glad your issue is solved and you can use the browser as expected.

@Gwen-Dragon
How is this different from choosing the icon in the address bar?
-
@Gwen-Dragon I followed the Chrome link from the Vivaldi address bar, but still nothing about allowing popups in all the settings that appeared.
-
@Gwen-Dragon - Again, even using the url you show in the GIF, it does not bring up any "content" section and not anything about popups. I think I made a mistake in updating to Vivaldi 2.7.1628.33 (Stable channel) (64-bit) for win7. I'm going to see if I can revert to an earlier version. My temporary fix works, but it, of course, allows popup ads.

@steveshank - What icon in the address bar are you referring to? Neither of the two icons I see has anything to do with popups.
-
@Gwen-Dragon - That's weird. I did as you say and when it loads the "chrome://settings/content/popups" page, the url that appears in the address bar changes to "vivaldi://settings/content/popups". And it does show the popup settings. But when I type in the same url using vivaldi instead of chrome, it just opens up Vivaldi normal settings which have nothing to do with content or popups. So I will save the chrome url when I need those settings. Like I say, it's weird, but it does the job. I wonder why Vivaldi can't just add content settings as part of the browser settings page? Oh well .... thanks, again.

@KetchupKid said in How to ALLOW pop-ups in Vivaldi:
it loads the "chrome://settings/content/popups" page .......... address bar changes to vivaldi://settings/content/popups"
Vivaldi UI is a working in progress. Some URL's need to be prefaced with chrome to load the page for Vivaldi.

@Gwen-Dragon - Okay, I'll try to be patient. Thank you, Ms. Dragon!
