first?

@aronand: Third
-
Why is it build 2.6.1581.5 and not 2.7.1581.5 ?
-
@Pesala It is an update and not a new Snapshot, I guess.
-
wow, released on overtime or because you are in USA?
-
@kahukura It is announced in the Snapshot Blog.
-
@ian-coog: Released just before workday is over for us in USA
-
The default bookmarks were all duplicated. I had previously deleted all of them.
-
@pesala: The 2.x number change occurs whenever we get the next chromium in afaik.

[Address bar] Cannot delete previous searches from the search field dropdown (VB-53983)
Very good, now can delete entries with Del key and the "X" icon with mouse.

There still seem to be issues with theming in private windows. For example the X (close button) for the bookmarks dropdown in address bar becomes invisible when being hovered on both dark and light themes. Furthermore the hovers of the site info and bookmarks button look off, as does the progress bar on most themes. In my opinion the different theming in private windows isn't needed at all – we just need one clear indicator for it, which we already have (key symbol). This and the optional starting page for private windows should be enough.
-
@luetage The profile icon could potentially be used as well to indicate that a window is in private mode.
-
@aronand: I don't think so.
You just all forgot about it, right ? -
@AltCode Seems like the selected result is orange while all other results are yellow.
-
@pesala: The numbers at the front are entirely irrelevant. It is build 1581.5, nothing more. Everything in front is simple marketing as I have explained before.
If you are confused by this be prepared to be confused multiple time sin the future as well.
-
@cqoicebordel: No. It just is not in the slightest bit relevant.
There is no 2.7 Vivaldi until we go final, no matter what we change between now and then with regards to the version numbering on the packages.
