Good morning Vivaldi, emphasis on Good

I hate PTSD, a lot of Youtube's ads trigger my PTSD.
That is what I mainly use adblock for. Will this offer the same functionality? I assume no, as I doubt Vivaldi consider Youtube a dangerous site. -
@ian-coog: Emphasis on morning . It is 3am here (half of us are currently in the US)

Just updated, and I have to say it's running great so far! The blocking abusive ads is a brilliant addition, and I hope it paves the way for a feature where the user is able to add their own custom block lists too. This feature should hopefully protect Vivaldi from G's rumblings about removing the Chromium APIs required for effective content-blocking. I use content blocking primarily to maintain my privacy - but I also find it useful to prevent distractions and things that are physically-painful to view such as extreme contrast/bright colours, or excessive animation (in a similar vein to @Kirikirasert 's statement about PTSD - although my needs pale into insignificance in comparison to theirs). Such a feature would literally make the web usable again for people with actual ADHD or ASD.
As a side note - I've just noticed the icons for user profiles. I've currently set mine to be a cat, and was pleased to also see mountain and forest icons too (yay!) - but I notice a distinct lack of bunnies amongst the options! Please fix as a matter of urgency!! The world needs bunnies!!

Another great update. Congrats! (Btw, for those reading this: check the experiments section )

@Gwen-Dragon Thanks. When I clicked on the bell it opened a message box with the text "Sensors" and two buttons "OK" and "Change".
Now it's gone.

Thanks Jon and the team. All good my end. Keep up the great work as always.

"[Keyboard][Extensions] Shortcuts don’t work VB-14668" got me hopeful; unfortunately extension shortcuts still don't work. e.g. Alt + Z does not activate uBlock Origin's element zapper mode, even though that is what I assigned in extension settings. (It works if I set the shortcut as "Global" instead of "In Vivaldi", but I don't want to be taken to Vivaldi when I press the shortcut in another program.) Only the "Activate the extension" shortcuts work, which have worked in previous versions as well, so I'm not sure what the change is in this version. Extension shortcuts bug is one of the few remaining issues that prevent me from moving to Vivaldi as my primary browser; sad to see that there has been no improvement despite being mentioned in changelogs as fixed many times.

Many thanks for the update on version 2.6. Especially I like the new function ' delusive or meddlesome advertisement block ' and ' passwords filter '. Vivaldi becomes better and better My Vivaldi functions absolutely perfectly since a while, many thanks for it

@mikulova That should not be listed in the Blog. It is an experimental feature. Go to vivaldi://experiments to enable it.
The checkbox will then appear in Settings, Mouse, underneath Allow Rocker Gestures. A restart is not required.

Deleting of entries in the searchlist by drop down and clicking on the cross is not working.
After reinstalling version 2.5 it is working again. -
Thanks mr. Jon and all developers! As always the best browser ever! Salute from Brazil! o/
