Connection timed out on phone
-
I just installed Vivaldi on my phone but when I try to login in order to sync my account I get a "Connection timed out" message.
I've tried login in with the username, [email protected], with the regular password, with the encrypted password, but to no avail.
Please help or I'll have to see other options.
Thanks.

@hmcbga84 Sync on what? For what?
You can't sign in with a Vivaldi account on Google Chrome or on Android, you can only setup the Vivaldi Mail on any mail app, and when Vivaldi for Android is released (should be this year) you'll be able to sync your bookmarks, tabs, etc on Vivaldi for Android alone.

Either he has a Windows 10 phone (there are a couple), or he's one of the testers improperly posting in the forum. Not enough information to say which.

@sgunhouse "improperly posting in the forum"?? Excuse me?? I'm here asking for some help.
I'm not a tester, I'm exploring other options to Chrome.

@Gwen-Dragon thank you. Much better support than @Gwen-Dragon.
I'm trying to sync my Vivaldi's desktop bookmarks onto my phone.
I went to the Play Store, searched for "Vivaldi browser" and downloaded "Via Browser" thinking it was the "Light" version of Vivaldi's browser. @An_dz made it clear that it has not been released yet, I think that answers my question.
Thank you, I will be waiting for the mobile release. In the meantime I'll keep enjoying the desktop version. I like the features so far.
Regards.

@Gwen-Dragon thank you. I myself am a manager, if one of my employees ever did that to a client, I would have a serious talk with him.

@An_dz thank you. This solved my issue.

I don't see anything bad or irrespectful on what @sgunhouse posted, especially not irrespectful on the OP. I fear the meaning of his post got lost in translation.
Vivaldi (on Android) isn't yet public so if someone installs it on a phone, it must be for sure for Windows, hence a Windows phone.
In the case it was a Android version of Vivaldi, the OP COULD be one of the internal testers, the only ones having access to the strictly private Android builds. -
@iAN-CooG You can't install Vivaldi on a Windows Phone/Mobile. Phones use ARM processors and Vivaldi for Windows is only available for i686 and x86_64 architectures. And even if it was available for Windows on ARM there's a difference between a desktop build and a phone build.
