[Regression] Vivaldi slows down when tiling or moving tabs (VB-43866)
Finally! I heard this one was a nasty one
-
@mtaki14 Yes, correction that we expected in many.
-
Tiling tabs is back with no scrolling issue .......
-
Yay, (working) tiled tabs are back!
-
I love the picture. I might have to steal that for my wallpaper.

@Pesala : The previous snapshot thread is closed, so I couldn't reply. Thanks for the link to your changelogs - to answer my own question: No! I couldn't see anything that a normal user would find different between 2.5 and 2.6. All of it is "invisible" except some tweaks to minor things like profile avatars etc.
-
@cynical13: I save the ones I like and use them for speed dial tiles. This one will definitely be added to the collection. I was wondering what country it was shot in.

I guess all those users suffering on Twitch for lagging moved/tiled tabs will be happy.
Yes, Tab Tiling is addictive, i couldn't do without it anymore.

This version is more "soft " about the introduction of new features but in my opinion brings interesting improvements related to usability, type the best personalization of profiles, the "Select Folder " Buttons for Downolad and Screenshot (they seem nonsense but many new users complained about this inexplicable lack that gave a feeling of "not finished" to the browser) and other useful things.
The Team is working on many things, maybe in the next version bring us a lot of news.... Ok maybe this is my inner self that took over and that wants M3, Feeds and Calendar.

@cynical13 Right-click, search Bing for image will soon find several pages such as this one

@pesala: I guess I'm surprised there's no credit about where the picture was taken from or link to the original site.
-
I've not kept up with the development of this branch, so can someone tell me if the crash caused by devtools has been fixed?
-
@cynical13 From the file name, it is apparently from aaron burden's photograph site. The license allows you to do whatever you want with his free photos.
-
tnx, VB-43866 was quite annoying. Time to leave 1546.4
@sjudenim I don't see any crash/missing/force close interacting with dev tools; quite sure was solved few snap ago
-
@cynical13: Umm... what does it say immediately under the changelog on every blog post for the last few years?
-
@pesala: The credit at the end of the blog post that starts, "Main photo by ..." was also something of a hint.
-
@sjudenim: yes, it was related to the tiling issues
-
@Hadden89, @ruario
Good to hear. Thanks
