Hi I'm fairly new to Vivaldi only been using it a few months, I have a Magento website/ store which uses JS in the backend there are a few things like buttons to upload images to the store ans save etc. Recently I have noticed they have disappeared and I can not figure out how to turn them back on.
This my about if thats any help

Compiler clangLooking forwards to resolving the problem
Also quick ask for the Devs please is there any way to turn on the F12 buttom so it shows small button above the page where you can change the deviec setting eg: from ipad to samsung or galaxy so you can see how your web page looks on each device, it would save some hassle to open differnt chrome browser just to do that task.

Vivaldi 1.15 is a very old version (more than a year old), so it's possible that the website simply doesn't support it anymore. I suggest you update to 2.5, which is the latest stable release.
Another possibility is that you have an adblocker (or another extension) that removes the buttons (it has happened to me in the past).
One thing that might give a clue of the issue is to open the Dev Tools. Go to the website where you have missing buttons and then press F12. Check if there are any errors on the console tab.

@Komposten thanks for the info it seems the culprit is actually a JS update in April 2019 so I am in the process of going back to the previous version

Just realised that I forgot to answer this. If you open dev tools (F12) and click the button at the top, second from the left ("Toggle Device Toolbar") it will open a toolbar at the top of the page where you can test different device sizes. It does seem to be a bit broken as selecting a pre-defined device such as Samsung doesn't work, but you can still enter screen resolutions manually and rotate between portrait and landscape mode.

@Gwen-Dragon hi there after further investigation it seems to be a major java script update sadly that is the cause of the problem.

@Komposten Thanks for this I had forgotten I had to hit the toggle button to use the toolbar ... Its not like my old browser that remembered my choice, and that I had not set one yet just having a brain f*rt or blonde moment either way have a great day !!!!!

@Gwen-Dragon
It apears to be a java script update I can't go back to a older version so I'm using a different browser for my shop
