Please prevent loading of videos upon Vivaldi startup
-
When many tabs are opened in Vivaldi and some of them contain videos like on Youtube or CNN, after restart of Vivaldi all these videos start to play at the same time - making unbearable noise and killing Vivaldi's performance too. Please implement some solution to prevent it. Upon startup the pages should load but no flash/HTML5 videos. Or they should be loaded but stopped until user switches the tab to this particular one. It would be a different feature than the planned "lazy tabs", as lazy tabs prevent the whole content of the tab to be started loading after user switches to it, as well as it would work through whole time of working in a browser. For comparison, the solution I request for is targetted only to videos and only during startup of the browser (pages read from the session file).

+1 There is a real need to disable videos from starting as you describe.

OK, here is an idea. How about an option "Load plugins only after entering a tab". This should work perfectly both for start-up and the normal usage of the browser. Such option could be even turned on by default.
Actually, this would need to treat HTML5 video as a plugin too to serve the purpose. But IMO it would be fine. -
Adding my +1 for this feature. Tabs really shouldn't load until open when starting up imo.
