(VB-52322) Autopause on Embedded Videos does not work
Start one video then start another. The first Video should pause when the second is started. Works in the latest Firefox and Opera.

Status of VB-52323 please?

Any news on (VB-52322) ?
This bug is quite naughty too, and not unlikely to happen.
(VB-52651) Setting about:blank as Home Page Locks the browser
Steps to reproduce:
- Enter the address about:blank for a Specific Home page
- Hit the Home Page button
-
@Pesala VB-52651 just got fixed internally.

Status VB-52226?
@xyzzy Some news?
-
@Gwen-Dragon Thanks!

Any updates for these bugs?
- VB-52575
- VB-52681
- VB-52683

@AltCode said in What is the status of VB (=already reported bug/issue)?:
VB-52575 Unconfirmed
VB-52681 Invalid (should be a feature request, as the function is not intended by current design)
VB-52683 Unconfirmed
These are very new and mostly cosmetic bugs. Even though they may soon be confirmed by a Sopranos with a Mac, it would be unrealistic to expect a high priority for them.

Can you please reopen
VB-21073
?vivaldi://settings/keyboard/
=> "Enable keyboard shortcuts" -
@ROTFL You have given the number of an archived issue which is unrelated to keyboard shortcuts. It can't be reopened. Are you sure you have the issue number correct? The one you specified is related to "enable" or "disable" protocols in settings in general.
Edit: OK - researched the entire history of this bug. You are indeed talking about settings (enable/disable) in general. The archived bug will not be revived, as it related to a code branch that no longer exists. Indeed, when it was addressed, the "solution" did not address all checkbox settings.
I recommend you file a new bug, and see what the devs will now do, now that the code has changed.
-
@Ayespy Yes, this is an archival issue.
It just keeps returning again and again... The same thing onvivaldi://settings/webpages/
"Enable keyboard shortcuts" is just an example of place where this issue exists (IMO).
Should I open new issue if I think that it's ....
Oh - thanks for answer -

Can any of the Sopranos ask Dev Team if it was (and partially is) a bug / regression or just unintended behaviour? -
@Gwen-Dragon Funny... Reproduction rate (on all of my machines) is 100%
Just stay in Private Window and try to open an saved session with unchecked "Open in new window" checkbox
It always opens new window anyway... (I am mostly using Windows)All of the related problems (private window + saving sessions) makes me wonder if it is a bug or design flaw or how should I categorize it. I think we won't know it until somebody from developers resolve this dilemma
PS. Maybe even this checkbox should be replaced with combobox "Open in existing normal window" / "Open in new normal window" / "Open in new private window" due to some technical limitations?...

what's the status of
- VB-30214
- VB-37140
- VB-50133
and any news for VB-34514
-
@derDay Re: VB-50133, this one may end up getting closed as "Won't Fix". Typing (or mis-typing) a Quick Command and having it fire instantaneously can have some very undesirable consequences. That's why all QC's now require you to hit enter before any action triggers.

@Gwen-Dragon thx and @xyzzy thank you very much for this explanation! this reason is more understandable than close and never hear why (also I'm going to miss that feature if it's cancelt)
