Поэтому, если в Vivaldi воплотить этот функционал, то половина старых пользователей уже будет ваша. Я специально умалчиваю об огромном настраиваемом функционале Opera. Обыватель этого не видит, как правило, а чтобы выжить надо рассчитывать на большинство. Но этого не достаточно чтобы стать №1, этого недостаточно даже чтобы начать создавать новый браузер. Вот новые три концепции, которые могут позволить выйти в лидеры: 1) Превратить кнопку Turbo в Tor анонимайзер. TOR - interesting, and in fact I've seen this suggested in a couple of other posts. I'm not sure how many people would actually use it (I played with it once a long time ago and the main thing I noticed was how bloody slow it was) but I can see that it would stand for both innovation and supporting the free internet - so it probably has some merit
BOINC - another noble cause but I'm not sure what the point would be of integrating it into a browser… if I understand correctly it's already a client which runs as a separate process (to be able to use those "free cycles") so mixing it with the browser just complicates things - why would you want to do that anyway? I don't see any advantage...
Ad blocking - mentioned many, many times already in the forums... mostly by AdBlock users. Personally, I believe it's better if it's integrated. The same people pioneered this way back in early Opera Presto, so I expect this to be a feature of Vivaldi (without needing an extension)
