Pluto.TV dead bird syndrome...

LiveTV and OnDemand vids work fine on Pluto.tv, but video smears and crashes the page on their Trending vids.
See here for example: http://pluto.tv/trending/extremely-lucky-pedestrian-almost-gets-hit-two-separate-carsLatest V 64bit; Windows 10 Home

@Gwen-Dragon This is making me crazy. On my wife's computer, running the same OS and V versions, there is no problem with vids on Pluto. So it's likely something in my environment. Any idea where to start tracking this down?

I just tried that site. They load over 20 or more videos on the same page at the same time, too much, it took 2 minutes before I could watch any. HTH

@cabalstone
Hi, it is often a GPU problem.
Check off Hardware Acceleration in settings/webpgagesCheers,mib

@mib2berlin Thank you!!! Turned HA on (option checked in settings); restarted and the vids play fine now.

@cabalstone

@stpvid1 Only takes a few seconds for me, but I have a 25MB/s download pipe. Bad page design in any case that assumes everyone has a speedy connection.
It's all relative. My first 'online' experience was with a 300 baud (bits per second) Silent 700 portable terminal, and I ran a 1200 baud FidoNet node in 1985. In round numbers, 25MB/s is about 20,000 times faster than 1200 baud.
And we ain't seen nothin' yet!

@Gwen-Dragon Yes, not the default. I may have turned it off to solve an earlier problem. Thanks for your kind interest.
