Minor update (2) for Vivaldi 2.3

@kikihu There you do not need to register. E-mail address is only needed to send notifications regarding it's Android version.
There is no beta or download link for apk.
Vivaldi team is doing everything to provide a ready mobile version as soon as possible. -
Are extensions failing to update for anyone else? (can force a check for updates using developer mode in extensions)

Ubuntu 16.04, Vivaldi 2.3.1440.48 and Ctrl+F causing a lot of troubles - freezing and crashing multiple times a day Ctrl+TAB switching (recent order) is since 2.2 buggy too and behaves like I pressed it two times, switching to tab I didn't wanted. When enabling tab cycler, very often I had to click on tab thumbnail with mouse as it doesn't switch and tab cycler stays displayed. I like new features but stability is more important. Thanks.

I am using windows OS, but Vivaldi makes the user experience much better. Best browser to my mind, i've deleted my Opera Neon in 1 week after using Vivaldi.

Strange problem, maybe related to the distro version. From what I see in the forum there are no similar problems in Ubuntu and in the Kubuntu that I use I can not reproduce these bugs either.

@catweazle: Nope, it's happening on my 18.04.2 too. CTRL-F simply crashes Vivaldi.
-
@RichardVajdel It's a bug that only affects some people, but that is being worked on.
-
@kikihu the best verdict MWC in very few days. may be a launcher on there perhaps? anyway, all the best Vivaldi Mobile Teams, right now i'm using Via browser and Opera on android!

Find-in-page search still crashes Vivaldi in an instant every other time.
-
I can't see ads since last update for some reason.
-
@Aruma I think some adds are blocked by default now in chromium code. Those would be the adds that don't conform to "better ads standards" - generally the annoying and intrusive types of adds.
-
@slake Yeah, what Google deems to be annoying maybe. But in fact Google Adsense of course won't be bblocked, and it's probably the most annoying thing out there… Adblocking done by browser vendors is completely useless, you either gotta do something about it yourself, or suffer the consequences.
-
@luetage It can be changed:
chrome://settings/privacyThen click into Content Settings and set Ads on Allowed. I do this since I don't want it potentially clashing with uBO.
-
@catweazle: I have the Ctrl + F issue too. I had this on 2
separate machine (Ubuntu and Kubuntu) too. Totally different hardware. I started to disable extensions to see if it is caused by one of them but no success so far. -
@antoniolinux You are posting to a thread about a version which is no longer current. What version are you running? It's important, as this bug was fixed but seems as though it may have re-appeared in a newer version (at least for Linux).
