Please add the option to move the Tab Bar above the page being browsed, below the Tool and Bookmarks Bars. Reasoning: Tabs on top never made since because it forces the user to move the mouse away from the webpage making browsing slower. It's far simpler to click from the page you are on, to the tab and back to the page if the tab is directly above the page. This makes for faster browsing.

That is not true if you set the spacing above tabs to zero. With the tabs at the very top of the window, they have effectively infinite height, so moving the mouse to the tab is much faster than having to aim at a target of 40 pixels or whatever.
To remove the spacing above the tabs, modify common.css, search for #tabs-container.top{padding-top: and change the padding from 6 and 12 to 0.

Sorry, I don't get it.
If the mouse cursor is in the browse window, you have to move the mouse over the Bookmarks Bar then over the Navigation Bar to get to the Tabs Bar. This assumes you have the Bookmarks Bar turned on, which I do. So, how is not putting the Tabs Bar directly below the above the browse windows more effective?

If it is at the top of the page, and they can have infinite height, all you have to do is just move your mouse to the top of your screen (assuming maximized window) at any speed you desire, and then just click on the tab you want - no aiming required whatsoever, however, if the tab bar would be between 2 bars, doesn't matter which, they will have a defined height and position. That means you have to move your mouse to the top, stop at that position and then make sure it is within the borders of the tab to click on it.

When, years ago, Opera proposed changing the tab bar from next to the browser window to above the bookmarks bar, I objected strenuously and in multiple, multiple posts, for reasons like the tabs being next to the window content as being the most ergonomic solution, as I'm sure many people can understand. However, when I reverted to the old "personal bar" which was "above" (or more particularly "farther from") the content than the tab bar, and moved tabs to the side, the issue went away as, once again, tabs were adjacent to web content.
I never had the issue of "but you can't just shoot your cursor to the top and select a tab," though I respect those who do. It's just that flinging my cursor here or there was never my style, and not something I would ever do.
