Solved How do you change your email address?
-
How do you change your email address associated with your vivaldi.net account? I just tried and the email address field in my profile is greyed out - can't edit it.

Sorry for the trouble.
We're currently working an implementing this feature. Hopefully we release it soon. Thanks for being patient with us.Update
You can now change your email address yourself by visiting this page: https://login.vivaldi.net/profile/samlsso and insert the recovery email address you want.

@jonyork2 You must ask the change at https://vivaldi.com/contact/.

@Gaƫlle Good,
I'm trying to find the e-mail change option that we use in the forums (for notifications, for example), and I can't find it.
I have found the option to change email recovery (as you have put right), but nothing else, thx -

they are going to my recovery email because that's what's showing in my profile and i'd like them to go to my vivaldi.net email.how is that possible to do?

i'll ask elsewhere on the forum and if i make progress, i'll let you know. -

I'm still in the same dilemma
i haven't asked anyone yet, but i think there are 2 workarounds:
-
get your email client to use a filter that moves the notification from one email address to the other automatically. that way the email makes a very brief stint in your recovery email folder, but ends up where you want it to.
-
if you have the ability to redirect emails, then then you can simply set it up so anything coming from vivaldi forums just goes to the address you want.
i think i'll set it up with #1.
it's simple enough to not have notifications emailed and just use the notification bell on the forum. it's actually pretty good though you have to check it, but then you have to do the same with emails. actually, doing it this way may be preferred because then you don't have to delete all those notification emails.

@natewind
Forum checks for changes during login. Have you logged out and in again on the Forum since you updated your account information on Vivaldi.net? -
