Shift+Click to Open a New Tab in Search Bar
-
Hi
Here I use the "Shift + Click" to open the links in another tab. And it works normally. In the Search bar when it is empty, I select the search engine, type the text and "shift + enter". Works as expected, opens the search on another page.
But if I first type the text in the search bar, then choose the search engine and hit "Shift + Click". the page opens on the same tab.
Could you implement the 'open in another tab' function by pressing 'Shift + Click' in the search engines drop-down menu?

@mrkalvin If you type the text first, then select the search engine, you don't have to press anything. The search immediately opens in the current tab.

Yes, just this, it only works "click" on the search engine (open in same tab).
I wish there was a "Shift + click" on the search engine icon. to open 'the search' on another tab.
I do not know if this is feasible to do in the programming code.
thanks.
