Dear Vivaldi Staff, Please keep up the good work. I've used vivaldi webmail for about a year and it is excellent. Since Opera seems to have lost its way, it is exciting that you are proceeding with quality and 'shibui'. Will you consider allowing the Ixquick search engine as an option? Warren Smith

I thought Vivaldi was just recently released. I guess there have been other services under the Vivaldi banner for for a while? Just the tech preview of Vivaldi browser is recent?
Anyway, it's hard not to like some things. A gimmick never hurts. The japanese auto makers took over the passenger car market in the eighties, partly by using gimmicks. The address bar / progress bar / fade out feature is just too cool. Love it.
