Is there a way to see which feature requests I have voted up?
-
If not, this is a feature request
-
@zook They haven't implemented it yet. You can use the forum extension if you want it right now.
-
@zook Go to your forum Profile and open the menu. Unless this is a feature only enabled for moderators you should see this menu.
-
@pesala Awesome, thanks.

@pesala While this is true, it's not a satisfying solution. It's awful going to an extra page whenever you want to check if you have upvoted/downvoted something. Instead you can click the vote count in the post itself and check for your image in the popup being shown β that's the better solution if you don't wanna do anything about it. But given that upvoted-downvoted posts already have different html, it's simple indeed to just color the buttonsβ¦ and that's what Vivaldi should implement because it's so very very easy and convenient (without going to an extra page or clicking on something to bring out a popup.
E.g.:

You might want to upvote the existing feature request : Icons for vote buttons need to be improved...

Then bookmark the link to your profile upvotes
The image in the popup just goes to the user's profile and list of posts, not to the list of posts he/she has upvoted.
-
@pesala If you have upvoted hundreds of posts it's impossible to find the one you are looking for anyway. Please realise this is no solution. I don't know why you don't like colored upvote/downvote buttons, but it's the logical thing to do.

That depends on what the problem is. Viewing the popup only tells you if you have upvoted the current post. The link shows every post.
-
@pesala Yes, and if you wanna know if you have upvoted the specific post you are looking at β this is the only way to go right now. I don't see the point in looking at all your upvoted posts at all β this could only help a brand new member with a handful of upvotes. Personally I have currently about 900 upvoted posts β it's not feasible. And you are effectively ignoring the real solution β coloring the actual upvote/downvote buttons. Well, no point in discussing this any further.
Anyway, the solution is currently being provided in the forum extension, but it would be logical for Vivaldi to implement it too. It's literally two css commands.
-
@luetage The easiest way for a single post is to upvote it. If the number increases then you did not upvote it before. If it decreases, you did, so upvote it again.
No one said anything about not wanting coloured upvote/downvote buttons. I was the first to vote for Icons for Vote Buttons Need to be Improved
-
@pesala That's not easy β that's cumbersome. And I tell you why I know that. I had users upvote some of my feature requests multiple times, because they did exactly that β try out if they upvoted something. It's not only dumb for them, it's also a little silly for the person who is being upvoted because they get all the notifications from the same user for the same post.
But if you already upvoted the according request, I really don't know what we are talking about.
Btw, I'm glad your downvote button is working

Should we all install Vivaldi forum mod by default?

Hey guys,
The option to easily see whether you've already voted for a post is coming with the next big forum update. -
This feature is now available. Posts that you have voted for will now show as highlighted for you; posts that I have voted for will show as highlighted for me.
