Thank you, thank you, thank you….

Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you (not CTRL+V :). I'm really fascinated with new-old Opera called Vivaldi I missed it so much after I must exchange old, good Opera to "new Opera" (presto was locking interface and crashing in 5 minutes intervals). I know, that Vivaldi is build on Chromium engine, if it really must - ok. I feel the spirit of old Opera in new Vivaldi (trash icon in top right corner - THANK YOU!, left side bar, "transfers" and old Opera downloads look&feel - i like have control where to save things, NOTES - thank you, and Bookmarks (thank you, thank you - but bookmarks have a lot of errors right now, but thank you! :). Once again, thank you very much. I'm using Vivaldi right now. Best regards from Poland,

Are you trying to set a new world record for most "thank yous" in one single post? :woohoo:
I can understand your enthusiasm pretty well. While there is indeed still a lot of work to do, we got exciting times ahead

Are you trying to set a new world record for most "thank yous" in one single post? :woohoo:
I was really tempted to do more or less the same…

Yupi
Do you know that actual version of Vivaldi has built in auto-updates, or I must check for new versions by myself?
-
Right now you have to manually update to each new weekly snapshot, since an auto-update feature isn't in place yet
The (as of now) latest version can be found at https://vivaldi.net/blogs/entry/first-snapshot-vivaldi-1-0-94-2

Wish I could edit that post … try https://vivaldi.net/blogs/entry/first-snapshot-vivaldi-1-0-94-2

Thank you guys! Thanks for the link.

@crazylinuxnerd:
Although, I would suggest making "Developer Tools" a little easier to find, for example, within the Vivaldi menu, I finally found it by right clicking, and saw the option for "Inspect Element", it would be handy to have had it in say, tools or something. :-).
Should be under Tools in the next snapshot.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you
I was just about to post the same thing
Heard about Vivaldi yesterday and I'm loving it already. Just waiting for integrated RSS reader + email and I'm ready to switch from Opera 12!!!
-
I was about to say just the same : thank you Vivaldi staff !
It's good to have a real browser back.
I hope there will as much features and possibilities as in Opera 12.17.
In my opinion, you should do like mozilla : split into 2 browsers. A internet suite with every features (mail client, torrent, even maybe Unite who knows) and no extensions; and a "light" browser, very basic but with extensions.
Of course it means twice more work and more people so I guess it's not gonna be possible. -
I also have to give a massive thank you for Vivaldi. Am sick and tired of all the crap from the other browsers we have been forced to use. When Opera 12 got stuck in time it was a bitter disappointment. So when I heard about Vivaldi I whooped with gusto! XXX
