Vivaldi portable and cache - after moving archive to new system, all tabs are missing
-
Hi, I have an disk with portable edition of Vivaldi. After reinstallation of system, all opened tabs are missing. I thought that everything was kept in one directory, regardless of location and system. Or are temporary files somewhere else? On a system disk? Thanks.

I'm sorry. The mistake is between chair and PC. I figured out I took an old version of Vivaldi (blank, with nothing saved)... If problem will persist after I'll find the right one, I'll ask again. -

Hi, Standalone install is not portable.
Some files are working some not, Passwords and Extensions are not working.
If you use Snapshot version you can use sync, no idea how far stable is now for sync.CHeers, mib

Lol, here we go again. Vivaldi really has to drop the "Standalone" name for these installations and go for something else. It cannot be emphasised enough this implies portability.

Hi,
One question,
reinstalling the .crx would be enought?I mean,
are the extensions settings keept? -
@zalex108 Extension settings should survive.

Good! Thanks!
Then,would help us on keep them at hand - at least for Password managers - .
I think save/install the .crx it's faster than installing from the Store.
