Current version of Vivaldi is just a Technical Preview. It isn't suitable for daily usage. My best guess is extensions will not be ready until public beta.

Well, technically, some of the Chrome/Opera extensions actually do work right now in Vivaldi (I'm using Stylish and LastPass, for example), but there are some limitations and it can of course lead to unforseen consequences, as the support is unofficial and highly unpredictable at this stage. And you have to install and enable the extensions manually.
It's been mentioned here on this forum a few times if you know what you're doing and wish to still give it a try.

I agree that extensions are very important. I need to be able to use Ghostery and HTTPS Everywhere and Privacy Badger and other ad blocking and tracker blocking extensions before I can use Vivaldi full time. I need to know that Vivaldi is helping to protect me from abusive advertisers and trackers.

it may contain.. yes, every one knows that. even latest updated browsers may contain security flaws ect.
e: anyway, works fine for me and i have it in everyday use.

"Ask your mom then." I wonder if she knows that. No, seriously, there are people who just install new software and don't even realise that using it may result in problems.
Latest versions of browsers may contain security flaws, but they are less likely to happen, because the browser has already been thoroughly tested. That's why we have stable versions, betas, alphas, technical previews…

It's generally better to state something that "everyone knows" (since "everyone knows" is really just a different way of saying "I know") than assume that everyone knows the same things I know and let them find out the hard way if they don't.
Also, the fact that a technical preview of a browser works for me and you doesn't in any way invalidate the statement that "it isn't suitable for daily use" (which it really isn't and it needs to be pointed out repeatedly). It just means that we've been lucky so far.
