Why the UI font is SF Condensed?
-
Why Vivaldi uses the squeezed SF Condensed when everything else on macOS is the regular San Francisco font? Why not just set the #browser.mac font-family as
-apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont
(which will also fallback to Helvetica Neue on Yosemite and Lucida Grande on Mavericks)? -
Can you show the differences when applied?

I totally agree! I believe that Vivaldi used to use regular San Francisco, and it looked fantastic! But, for some reason that I don't understand, they changed it to the condensed version some time last year. This change totally ruined the UI in my opinion, and I found it so intolerable that I actually created an Automator workflow that changes it back in the CSS file after every update.

@idanadar Here's the UI with the regular SF font (changed the common.css file): https://imgur.com/a/2hFSWOK
@Shrinra Indeed. I think they used to use Helvetica Neue, but the regular SF font is also clear and readable. Even the macOS UI Guidelines recommend the regular SF Text for user interfaces and SF Display for titles.
