Is there any reason to use Private mode if...

I'm keeping cookies and browsing history in session only, using an ad blocker, a vpn and using Duck Duck Go?

@three21 Private mode is a protection against people who have access to your computer and may log on to your browser. Ad blocker, vpn and private search would not be the same set of protections.

@three21 by using a non-shared context it is impossible to leak cookie (login) data between tabs from normal mode to tabs in private mode (and vice versa).
Private mode also does not keep a persistent history of visited sites.
With the right setup for default browsing, other differences should be marginal.A limitation of Chromium/Vivaldi is at the moment to only support 2 separated session contexts (normal and private).

Private Mode also keeps your extension from snooping on you (assuming you disabled the option: "Allow in incognito".

Thanks for the replies. I was launching straight into private mode, but I think I'll stick to regular mode. I really love the fact that I can purge history and cookies after each session.
