Browser Title Bar Toggle
-
@zaibon Well take your irritation elsewhere if you cant see properly...can't you see the blue title bar just above ?? In huge letters 'Online regex ..blah blah ?? Jeez.
-
@rojaviv The setting you need to change is Settings, Appearance, and disable "Use Native Window."
-
@pesala Now that was odd...I took your word for it, so as it was already unset, I set it, then closed and re-opened, still see title bar, then unset again, closed and re-opened, and poof! it was gone ! Odd considering I have reopened many times over many days Thanks!!
Nothing we can do about that 2mm of title bar still remaining, right ?
-
@rojaviv What 2 mm? Do you mean the space above the Tabs?
Settings, Tabs, Tab Display, Remove Tab S;acing in Maximized Windows.
-
@pesala SWEET ! You are the best ! Thanks again! Wonder why these things arent enabled by default, since most of us who use V are kinda power-users :0

@pesala Is there a reason why this setting applies only when browser is in FS mode ? With our super-large monitors these days we have multiple apps open side by side and V tends to have that padding on top in non-FS mode - I had noticed this in FF also earlier.
-
@rojaviv The setting is for maximized windows. If the window is only maximized vertically then it's not maximized.
Vote for Setting for Spacing Above Tabs in Non-maximized Windows

@rojaviv To be accurate, differentiate between FullScreen (which is a mode that hides the UI and fills the screen with just the page) and Maximized (which is the mode where the app - in this case the browser, retains its UI but fills the screen.
-
@ayespy Lol...you are correct, I said FS when I meant max. Please dont tell anyone at work ?
