1.15.1147.36 LastPass broken
-
LastPass is not working properly since updating from 1.14 Stable.

For a while now (1.12 Stable), I have been unable to fill some pop-up dialog boxes in LastPass. The cursor blinks in the appropriate fields, but I can't enter any text. I have tried the on-screen keyboard, but that doesn't work either. This includes the LastPass Settings and various websites. I have had to use the Chrome browser to use LastPass in these situations.
In addition to this issue, since the update to 1.15, when I click the LastPass icons in the username and password fields, the pop-up to choose the appropriate LastPlass entry pops up, but when I click it, nothing happens. I have to go to the LastPass menu>Show Matching Sites>Auto Fill for LastPass to fill the user name and password. This doesn't happen in Chrome, Firefox, or Edge.
This could very well be a LastPass issue and not Vivaldi, but with so many people using LastPass, I would think it merits reaching out to them and at the very least, testing LastPass in-house.
I only use the Stable versions of Vivaldi.
Please let me know if you need more information.
Thanks,
Philip

Yes. Strict Site Isolation, but I had that set in 1.14 Stable which didn't cause this issue. I also have Strict site Isolation set in Chrome which doesn't cause this issue. It's something with 1.15 Stable.
Thanks,
Philip

@rafiki I've switched from keepass to bitwarden. While keepass did a fine job for years, it was a pain using it on different systems, especially smartphones. Bitwarden is comparable with lastpass, but they seem far more active in providing working extensions on different browser and they even mention Vivaldi by name in their support list.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
I filed a Bug Report as you suggested this morning. I disabled Strict Site Isolation in Vivaldi 1.15.1147.36 Stable and that indeed solved the issue with LastPass. I have Strict Site Isolation enabled in Chrome v. 66.0.3359.139 and the LastPass extension works as it should.

Having Strict Site Isolation doesn't work for me. I've been having issues with Vivaldi and Lastpass since the snapshot builds of 15 (all of the march builds).

@novaviper Strict site isolation doesn't work well in vivaldi yet. I guess is problematic on any chromium based browser (which hasn't chrome proprietary patches to make it work)

I know, but having it off doesn't seem to fix the bug, nor having it on does too
