Alt mouse gesture not always working
-
Is this a known problem? Sometimes the Alt + L-shape mouse gesture fails to close the current tab. It often takes a few tries before the gesture closes the tab. Is my "L" shape so bad? Is there a way to increase the tolerance? I always use the latest snapshot of Vivaldi on macOS High Sierra. Instead of a mouse, I use a trackpad.
I normally don't use mouse gestures, but because of this persistent problem

I'm sometimes unable to locate the tab of the webpage I'm on. So, I'm trying to familiarize myself with the close-tab gesture.

@ryofurue Which version are you using? Some issues with Alt Mouse Gestures have recently been fixed
Mouse gesture sensitivity can be adjusted in settings. The default is now 20 pixels — it was only 5 pixels.
Specs: AMD A10-6800K, 8 Gb on Win 10 64-bit •Snapshot 1.15.1147.32 (64-bit)

I'm always on the latest public snapshot. Currently it's "1.15.1147.32 (Official Build) (64-bit)".

Thank you for the information. I've just increased the tolerance to 30 pixels. Let's see if it works better.

@ryofurue If it sometimes fails to work you need to increase the sensitivity, not decrease it.

I have seen this issue. I can't get them to work on webpages but they do work on pages like speed dial.
Though the issue is intermittent.

@ryofurue This issue seems to happen more to trackpad users. A workaround may be to "click" as you drag (I appreciate this can be difficult on a trackpad, and somewhat negates the point of the feature).
You may also be able to double-tap and then drag without releasing after the second tap while pressing alt.
