Edit auto-complete entries in the URL field

How can I edit out unwanted auto-complete entries in the URL box? I am used to entering a 1 in order to check my modem status screen but what comes up is an old entry given me by a satellite tech rep to debug a problem. The entry I would like to see auto-complete in the URL box, 192.168.100.1, is listed down below but I reckon I will never use the one left over from the tech support.

It might be the Address Auto Complete. Try disabling it on:
Menu >> Tools >> Settings >> Address Bar

I want find where these might be stored in order to edit out a particular URL that comes up in auto-complete, not to turn off the feature. My goal is to have my modem's addr come up, which does not happen however many times I type it in by hand.

AFAIK, there are 3 possibilities where it can be stored:
- History
- Bookmarks
- Typed URLs
I snatched a screenshot, just in case.

If you just want to delete them, you can use shift+delete or press x on the right of each unwanted entry.

@lamarca Thanks for the information.
Auto complete for typed URLs appears to be creating addresses from my bookmarks, as you suggested, meaning that some address beginning with a 1 will be inserted in my URL box. If I go around deleting them I will lose some of my bookmarks, which is not desirable.
I suppose what I would like is for the last one I have entered would be the one chosen, but that is not the case. Perhaps there is a collating sequence used by Vivaldi and my modem's address is not high on the sequence.

Not exactly. It saves what is typed on the Address Bar. The option "Always Prefer Bookmarks" can be disabled. Never tried. - "Address Field Drop-Down Menu" has 2 options. In case you didn't see it, check it out

That happens to every 1st character entered. The Address Bar Drop-Down displays the location of all matches. See the screenshot.

Thanks again. I'll experiment with those two settings.
