Continuing work on mouse gestures – Vivaldi Browser snapshot 1.15.1132.3
-
@luetage Plus, they left the door wide open
-
New home button looks weird, also v still not launching maximized all the time.
-
Mouse problems on the scroll bars, sometimes it's as if the click was blocked and the page continues to scroll. It only happens with Vivaldi from the snapshot 1.15.1125.3, so it's not a mouse problem.
-
The version don't keep the twitter's login on close/reopen...
-
Does Lastpass work with this snapshot?
-
The much reported bug with selecting of text while dragging with the MMB seems to be fixed too, though it is not mentioned.
-
@pesala no it isn't, still selects the texts while keeping mmb down and moving up/down
-
@ian-coog It seems to depend on where you first click.
-
@gwen-dragon: comfirm, now it's work fine
-
@ian-coog: I think it is my PC installation...I checked carefully and the behavior is what I wrote above...not the link chosen is open (links are highlighting, so I know I have put the mouse on the proper position). Amen. I have even other issues:for examples embedded YouTube videos in RSS sre not opening anymore. In previous snapshots they were working and in stable version too.
-
"Popup blocker strict" extension alert notification still not working.
-
-
I was not notified about the update. The installer has ovewritten my custom.css file and custom-copy,css as well. Why? The autoupdate had 32MB!? I suppose 320kB.
-
@burbuja As far as I know, delta updates only apply to the immediately preceding version. Otherwise, you will get the full installer.
-
@saudiqbal: put this in your custom.css:
button.button-toolbar.home svg path{
d: path("M13 4l-10.5 10h3.5v8h14v-8h3.5l-10.5-10zm5 16h-3v-5h-4v5h-3v-8.469l5-4.731 5 4.731v8.469z");
} -
@burbuja Updates always overwrite custom modifications, since the whole application is replaced on update. Therefore mods should be saved outside the application and copied into it on update. There are bash scripts available to automate this process, see the modding forum board.
You can probably get to your custom files by looking at your trash and locating the previous version of Vivaldi.
-
So Discus STILL doesn't work
-
@luetage I had a buckup. I get it overwrites for example browser.html, but I dont get, why it deletes my custom files
-
@burbuja Because, as said, the whole application is being deleted and replaced with a freshly downloaded one on update. Everything stored within that application is therefore lost.
-
The original home-button looked much better with the roof and door.
