Data Upload Error during sync

I keep getting a data upload error when syncing. Is this on my end? Is there something I can do to fix it? The sync panel says "failed to commit data to server"

It's a temporary issue. They already know about it, and are working on it.

This is still an experimental feature that is not enabled by default. It may be a few weeks or months yet before it is working properly.
Having said that, I was successfully able to commit my data to the server, so it is working sometimes at least.

Anyway, yes, I work on Sundays.
And I am just posting to underline a behavior of the beta software, not to bust the balls to forum moderators. If the feature does not work or has issues, simply disable it once for all.
If, on the contrary, it is present and can be tested, I report if it works or not without any other ulterior motive.@lamarca

It seems that you did not even bother to read previous posts. The sync feature is experimental. It is disabled by default, and it is already known that it does not work perfectly yet, which is why it is disabled by default and experimental.
The developers are working on it, but they do not work on Sundays, which is when you complained about it not working always. If the error was on the sync server, the developer responsible for it might not be at work, OK.

1st: I do not want to flame this forum and thread. I am a project manager with almost 24 years of experience and I am a big fan and enthusiast of Vivaldi. I always advise my friends and colleagues to switch to it.
I consider myself a beta tester as I am using the snapshots and I NEVER complained about malfunctions.2nd: due to the fact sync can be tested I just report if it works or not, like other users do and I DO NOT open new threads for the same things, but I use the same one, and YES, I read the previous posts, so I was just updating.
Forums are meant to be used for this.3rd: I do not give a damn about weekends if I can post on Sundays and I WAS WORKING TOO, not hanging out like some moderators. Developers can easily read my posts on Mondays or whenever they want, if they read them. It is another feedback by a user.
4th: I consider myself not only a user but a CLIENT of Vivaldi and expect not less than respect since I NEVER EVER have been rude with anyone.
5th: you HAVE BEEN rude with no excuses and without reason and you should not be a moderator.
On the contrary, I THANK OPENLY @lamarca who was professional and acted exactly like a moderator should do: he gave me hints on how check the sync system, on whose I was unaware. By the way, no, I never had SyncCycleCompleted in the past days.6th: I suggest people who is still at college with pimples on his/her face to make more experience and take into account that the world is big and there are ALWAYS a lot other people who are better and more successful than them in many ways and skills. If these people are not at college, well there's no hope and we have another loser.
I do apologize to all other users and moderators of Vivaldi forum for my long post. It was years since I had vented like this, but I expect Vivaldi forum to be a great place to discuss and NOT THE USUAL GAME FORUM for kids.
I consider my experience with the forum closed.
I wish the serious and professional people of this site to continue to work seriously for the common purpose.
And I advise to change impolite moderators.Ps: Let's see if I will be banned or my post deleted. This would be the icing on the cake.

No one asked you to, but you did it anyway. MsAngelD managed to say thank you, so why do you talk about busting the balls of moderators, and stating that the experimental feature should be disabled when it already is disabled by default?
With your long experience I would expect better from you.
