Mod edit: "If you first call the desired target path and then copy and paste in the text box for the download folder, this is very cumbersome. It would be desirable to have an otherwise usual selection menu next to the text field. Maybe that can be realized in Vivaldi"
I have translated this for you. This category is English-only, please.

Would not be drag and drop better?
-
@burbuja No way.
-
Please add a button here. Because this is really shaming that you positioning yourself as a good browser, but you're not good for newbies at all. -
@desperand Vivaldi is aimed at Power Users, not newbies. For them there is Chrome. But yeah, adding a browse button among others would be welcome.

Marking as in progress. It's present in snapshot Vivaldi 2.6.1554.13

@LonM The browse button to select the Home page is not present yet. The Buttons are there for downloads and image capture.

Thanks for submitting this request and sharing your input.
As @Pesala mentioned this feature is already available on snapshot and will be soon available on stable as well. Please look for VB-53383 in the change log. -

@Pesala
While the Downloads and Capture locations want a path to a folder in your File Manager and the "Select Folder" button makes sense there, the expected input for the Homepage is a custom web link.
