@ian-coog It is pretty useless in terms of functionality, but it's eye candy. Eye candy can be good, for one it can help to attract new users, which is always a good thing. This themeing addition also adds some level of parity between chrome and firefox and how their themes work, which again is good for transitioning new users.
-
@zandathrax: Widewine will be downloaded after first start on a fresh install, try restarting.

Window Background Image
People actually use this?I found it nice, I at no time thought of having this in Vivaldi, but now I have this function and I liked it, I'm using it, it reminds me of Firefox with its themes, I like it!
I think it was not a function that delayed development, so much so that it had several fixes in that snapshot.
To sum up: The user is not obliged to use the function, if a person does not like it, forget it there in the settings, I mostly moved to Vivaldi because of the settings and personalization, so for me it is having everything I want, requests in the forum this is for this, I think this fits the term of some request here in the forum - More customization functions
Vivaldi becomes unique to me for being like that, listening to the community, adding features, fixing errors, and after that everything the browser is still very fast! Here it's flying low, I think about 80% of the errors I see complaining users never affect me, so again, for me it's not a useless resource, it's more of a customization option. -
This is so good I may start crying from happiness! Thank you Vivaldi team, this is a great option I didn't even knew I wanted so badly.

Something is broken in Facebook in this snapshot. Clicking an image doesn't open the image in its full size but rather the image gets blurry and a spinning circle spins endlessly in the center of the image.
-
@g_bartsch Here, it just pops open full size.

I tried to reproduce the problem several times, I could not!

@Ayespy and @JuniorSilva30 Thank you guys. I had restarted Vivaldi but restarted it again and now it works fine. I'm not sure why ... Oh well, all is good now.

for him
Yeah, men are lazy & clueless like that.
We women however are fine with staying old-school & making the decision for ourselves.

-
@ryanchuang Recently repaired internally.

(First,written in Japanese.sry)
issue:download progress bar is broken.
This is not showing the exact estimated time.
ダウンロードの進捗表示がおかしくなっているようです。

のゲームの体験版を落とそうとしているのですが
(koiflgtr.zipです)
(MD5:516d2dbc4a811d5433857244004ded50)

If you think you don't need this, think again!

Same here despite I know a good deal of them.
so again, for me it's not a useless resource, it's more of a customization option.
And that is the point: Option.I can switch it off if I don't like it and apart from some bytes on the disk it does not eat any resources when switched off

Q: What one should do to restore the default Window Background Image? Where is the default image of the pattern located?
