Last tab not retaining themselves
-
Hi,
I don't really know why, that problem persists since yesterday evening in my two installations of Vivaldi (stable 1.13 & 1.14) : When using the cross to close Vivaldi, and when reopening the browser, I find myself in a new page, without any of my tabs. Worst : If I repeat that again, the trash don't save my list of tabs, and only retain the previously opened window with one tab. When using File > Quit, all is fine though.

@goldnoway Was a popup window open?
-
@Pesala That's not possible, I use an extension to stop popups.
When using File > Quit, the reopening of Vivaldi only give the one window with my tabs, though. -
@goldnoway Check in task manager to see if any instances of Vivaldi are still running after closing.
Disable the extension and see if you still have the problem.

I disabled all of my extensions, the problem is solved. I now have to localize which extension was the origin of the trouble, but that should be easy, as I remember what extensions were the latest I installed.
Thank you very much

@goldnoway I know some extensions, such as my VPN extension will allow themselves to keep vivaldi open even after the main window closes, and that might be part of the issue.
It places an icon in the windows taskbar, and I can right click it to get the option to turn this functionality off.

@lonm I saw something like that yeah, I think the problem came from a VPN extension too.
