I am logged in, but do not see where to vote.
-
@pesala Next to each entry is a checkbox, and the vote button is under entry 20. Don't even need to be logged in.
-
There is no checkbox. I must have voted already, but I have no idea which one I voted for.
-
@pesala Yes, once you vote, you won't see the checkbox anymore.
-
@olgaa The results link disappears too, once you have voted. I noticed because I wanted to click it after voting.

@veraser Sorry, cannot agree. First, contestants are competing, and so self-reference is unavoidable - as each wishes to appear "worthy." Second, note that more than one of these contestants is referring to things they DID for others, to make Vivaldi more appealing to the public. And last, the contest is in many ways to demonstrate the appeal of Vivaldi. This appeal has to be personally felt to be appreciated, and each contestant has spoken of how they personally felt (again, self-reference - how the heck can you appreciate something in the third person?) the appeal of Vivaldi. I find all of the entrants to display merit, and cannot yet decide beteen them.
-
What're we supposed to be judging them on? The link to the contest page doesn't work...
-
@gt500 You are judging on who you feel the most worthy to meet the team, based on their submission. The blog page is the contest page.
-
@ayespy: Ah, I guess this is the article they were trying to link to:
https://vivaldi.com/blog/win-a-trip-to-oslo/They need to fix the links in their post. Not only is the one to the contest information broken, but a bunch of the links to read the full post for the contest entries are just links to the contest information instead of the contestant's full entry.
-
I'm glad I made it to the short list but I think that the Vivaldi team should have picked their winner because public voting gives an unfair advantage to people with influence and can easily be manipulated programmatically.
-
I like @frederic_chopin's post. It's neat and clever!
-
@veraser: The headlines you are referring to were put together by the Vivaldi team. I looked through them to see what annoyed you so much and while you have a point, most of them are about the feature or functionality that the entry is about, e.g. "As a Project Manager, I keep on top of Jira tickets with Vivaldi". So apologies if you found the headlines in bad taste, they are meant to guide to what the post is about.

@gt500: Hey, unfortunately, we are not able to link directly to a comment. For this reason, we link to the original competition blog - scroll down and you can read the full entries in the comments.
