I have assumed, its a false positive and left it alone. Is it?You could always track down the file and upload a copy to VirusTotal and see what other AV products say. However, this is most likely a heuristic detection based on some code pathways in an otherwise benign dll. This is the third Vivaldi file that I believe some AV has flagged thus far, largely because the software is too new to have been picked up by the AV teams for legitimate exclusion.

That file is Chrome's PDF viewer - I doubt it has been changed from the original.

Isn't Chrome's v1.0.0.1 pdf.dll actually 3.831Mb in size? Vivaldi's v1.0.0.1 pdf.dll is 8.959Mb in size on my system… which, if they are indeed differently sized, means they aren't exactly the same.

In that sense … the one included with 1.0.111.2 (64-bit) is 10,613 K (or 10.3 M) according to Windows, so they must still be adding to it.
But no, the Chrome PDF viewer is 8,957 K as of the version I have - so looks like the version you have for Vivaldi is almost the same as the one I have for Chrome. Somebody needs to update their version numbers when they update the file, which apparently has happened quite a bit.
