-
Now it is macOS’s turn for fixes with lingering processes, preventing shutdown.

Nobody? ok, 1st!
-
When the installer finished updating this it opened vivaldi with a tab with no title - the "vivaldi was just updated" page - even though this webpage does have a title in the html:
It also doesn't show the "padlock" one normally sees if a site has properly configured https (which this site does).
Closing and Reopening this tab seems to correct the issue. -
I don't see the padlock even on https://vivaldi.com/
and I just got a deadbird loading https://vivaldi.com/blog/snapshots/ -
Another thing: it's really needed to use large images like
https://vivaldi.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/benjamin-voros-160962.jpg
1+mb, 5472x3684 that is anyway displayed resized smaller? -
@ian-coog: I do see the padlock just fine and got no dead bird either. This is with the 32-bit version of this snapshot running on Windows 10 (64-bit).
-
@ian-coog: but it shows a MAC! We all know that Macs have an infinite resolution and such it is absolutely needed </ducks and runs for cover as fast as humanly possible>
-
Nice fixes, this deals with a good junk of problems on macOS.
-
@gwen-dragon that last one was only an example, many on blog are exceeding 2000x1000, there should be a bounding box for all the used images, at least for the thumbnails/smaller ones. Then you can always link to the original when clicked.
-
Can you fix the sync issues?? In here,it always fails to upload the data to server.
-
@ryanchuang: Confirm.

Now working ok...
-
Vivaldi still not launching maximized!
-
@saudiqbal: This is known as VB-35145 and still a work in progress.
-
And still VB-35586 has not been fixed.
You need to add:
checkffmpeg '/usr/lib64/chromium-ffmpeg-extra/libffmpeg.so' '/usr/share/doc/packages/chromium-ffmpeg-extra'to the start script on Linux for flash to work on opensuse.
Just why are Vivaldi neglecting flash to such an extent?
-
@ian-coog: Aah! But I'm the 15th!
-
@gort I confirm that after updating the padlock is not there anymore at vivaldi.com
It was there before update, I checked while still using 1.14.1042.3, updated and the whatsnew page opened with no padlock.
https://vivaldi.com/browser/whats-new-in-vivaldi-1-13/?hl=en-us&version=1.14.1036.3&os=W6.1.7601
If closed and reopened, now the padlock it's there. Something fishy, reproduced by 2 users.
A side note about update notifier, it was checked, but still no update warning popped up or in systray, I unchecked it, closed Vivaldi, reopened, rechecked it, closed Vivaldi and reopened it again, NOW I got the systray notification. -
custom themes can only have 3 characters for their names now
-
For the past 3 versions when I start up Vivaldi it doesn't start fully maximized, instead the tabs have a little empty space which in my options is turned off, it looks like this:
So every time I start it, I have to manually "un-maximize" it then maximize it again so it looks normal, like this:
-
@jenoki I can name longer than 3 BUT I can't delete the last character when creating a new one, it gets named "New theme 1" and deleting the text with backspace, the N remains, if selecting the text from first char and pressing Del, the 1 remains.
