Undesired window size and position
-
Opening a page from the trash or from a link in Mail makes the browser window maximise, which i pretty annoying.
On the other hand creating a new tab does not maximise the browser windows.
How can the first behavior be removed?
Vivaldi 1.13.1008.21
OS X 10.12.6 -
@gwen-dragon This bug went away after updating to 1.13.1008.30 but came back after a few days.

OS X 10.9.5 here, Vivaldi 1.13.1008.32, and I have this issue too. Actually, Vivaldi seems to want to go fullscreen almost every time I start it, and also when clicking a link in any other application (not just Mail).

Same problem that has only started with 1.13.1008.32 for me, but it's really annoying...any click from an email link or a link from a separate feed reading app pushes the browser window to full screen. PLEASE fix this.

OS 10.13.1 here and having the same problem.

Switched to Vivaldi version 1.13.1008.34 and this is still happening… Any news please?

The problem with Vivaldi windows going into a zoomed (maximized) state was mostly resolved in releases containing the fix to VB-35034. However, there's another strange glitch that still has to be fixed: if you minimize a Vivaldi window to the Dock, subsequent new windows will go into a zoomed state, even if you quit and relaunch Vivaldi. (VB-35317)
If this happens, you can un-zoom the window with "Opt + Green window control button". If you then put a Vivaldi into fullscreen mode and then exit full screen, it will reset Vivaldi's window state and new windows should open normally again.
