KDE Pinned no longer working
-
Using Vivaldi Snapshot on KDE I have pinned the Vivaldi browser to task bar.
With the latest update of Vivaldi this no longer works.
I can pin Vivaldi, but when closing the application I cannot start it again from the pinned icon.
The pinned icon now points to vivaldi-bin and it opens the KDE application starter dialog to choose which application it should open (since it cannot find vivaldi-bin).
After closing I can only start Vivaldi from the menu, and I have to delete the pinned icon, because the newly started Vivaldi does not use it and is no longer pinned.OpenSUSE Leap 42.2

Hi, do you mean Kmenu > Internet > Vivaldi > RMB > send to taskbar with "Pinned"?
You can get exact KDE version with "inxi -F" , inxi is not installed per default but nice.
No problems here on:Opensuse Leap 42.3 x86_64

I am using the KDE Icon-only Task bar. Right click on the already open application, choose Pin.
Kmenu > Internet > Vivaldi > RMB > Pin to Task Manager
This does the same. When I click on it to open Vivaldi, it does not place itself on the previous pinned icon, but creates a new. Also:
Closing Vivaldi. Clicking on the pinned Vivaldi icon on task bar (vivaldi-bin it says).
It does not open my stored session, but a brand new vivaldi configuration
~/.config/vivaldi
While starting the application from the menu uses ~/.config/vivaldi-snapshot -
